Is there an uncensored version of ChatGPT?
No. ChatGPT runs on OpenAI's GPT models under OpenAI's rules, and OpenAI doesn't offer a version without them. It planned an adult mode for verified adults, then paused it indefinitely in March 2026.
Sites that sell an “uncensored ChatGPT” are either running a different model or wrapping GPT in a jailbreak prompt. What most people want is a chat that works like ChatGPT and answers more: that's an uncensored model inside a ChatGPT-style app.
We tested what GPT refuses in 2026
On 21 October 2026 we sent the same eight prompts to four models available in UncutGPT, once each, with no system prompt or custom instructions. The prompts are the kind of adult requests people say mainstream AI refuses.
The first five prompts are everyday requests that sound risky. Every model answered all of them. The differences were in the warnings.

Where GPT draws the line
The next three prompts were adult fiction. GPT-6.1 Sol swore freely in a roast, then turned an explicit scene into a fade-to-black one. For the horror scene it offered something “frightening and intense, but not graphically gory”. gpt-oss-120b, OpenAI's open model, refused both with a one-line reply.
We tested the models directly, the way UncutGPT connects to them. The ChatGPT and Grok apps add their own instructions and safety settings, so they can be stricter, and the same model can answer differently on another run.

How to get ChatGPT without restrictions
- Use an uncensored model. They're trained or modified to drop the refusal layer, and in our test the uncensored model wrote everything we asked.
- Try Grok for a mainstream model with fewer limits. Grok 4.7 wrote all eight prompts, including the explicit scene.

- Skip jailbreak prompts. They stop working after updates, and OpenAI can warn or suspend accounts that keep breaking its rules.
