What Image Studio does
- Text to image with FLUX.1 [dev] in five shapes: square, portrait (3:4 and 9:16) and landscape (4:3 and 16:9).
- Standard resolution, or HD at up to 2048 × 1152 pixels.
- Fast, Balanced or High detail, trading speed for finer texture.
- One image per prompt on Free; up to four on Plus or Super within your remaining allowance, with a seed to repeat a result you like.
- Start from a photo: upload one and choose how far the image moves away from it.
- Quick actions on every result: more like this, reuse the settings, edit, copy the prompt, download, or animate it into a video.
How to get a good image
Describe the subject first, then the setting, the light and the style: “a red fox in fresh snow, early morning backlight, shallow depth of field, photographic”. Short, concrete words beat long lists of adjectives.
If a result is close but not right, use More like this or keep the same seed and change one word at a time. For a photo edit, lower the strength to stay close to the original and raise it for a bigger change.
Private by default
Your images are saved to your account in private storage. They aren't shown to other users or in a public gallery, and you can download any of them. Authorised staff can review saved files to enforce the rules, as the privacy policy explains. Generation runs on fal.ai, which processes your prompt under its own terms.
Creative freedom, with firm limits
Image Studio doesn't add an extra filter on top of the model, so mature and dark creative work is possible for adults. A few hard rules still apply: nothing involving minors, no sexual or intimate images of real, identifiable people, and nothing illegal. See what we won't do for the full list.
Free to start
A free account includes 1 image generation per UTC day, with no card required. Upgrade to Plus or Super to generate more that day or make several versions at once. An image that fails without a result does not count. Plus includes 30 images per day for $9.99/month; Super includes 200 for $49.99/month.
