What Video Studio does

  • Text to video: describe a scene and get a 5 to 10 second clip.
  • Image to video: animate an upload or any Image Studio result with Animate this.
  • LTX-2.3: 6, 8 or 10 seconds at 1080p, landscape or portrait, with optional generated sound.
  • Wan 2.7: 5 or 10 seconds at 720p or 1080p, in landscape, portrait, square, 4:3 or 3:4.
  • Live progress with elapsed time, cancel while it waits, and one-click retry.
  • Play, download or remove finished videos from your account's private gallery.

How it works

Write what should happen on screen, pick a model, a length and a shape, and press Generate. The video is made in the background and usually takes a few minutes; you can leave the page and come back to it.

Starting from a picture keeps its shape and uses it as the first frame. Describe the motion rather than the picture: “waves roll in and the clouds drift” works better than describing the beach again.

Writing a prompt that moves

  • Name the camera move: slow push-in, drone shot, handheld, orbit, static wide shot.
  • Say what changes over the clip: a door opens, rain starts, the subject turns to the camera.
  • Set light and mood: golden hour, neon at night, overcast and quiet.
  • With LTX sound on, mention what we should hear: footsteps, a crowd, waves, wind.

Private by default

Finished videos are stored privately in your account, never in a public feed. Generation runs on fal.ai, which receives your prompt and any start image under its own terms.

Video allowances on Plus and Super

Videos cost far more to make than messages or images, so they have their own allowance: 5 videos per paid month on Plus and 20 on Super. Video generation requires one of these paid plans. A video that fails, or that you cancel before it starts, is given back.

The same hard limits as images apply: nothing involving minors, no sexual or intimate content about real, identifiable people, and nothing illegal.
