The short answer
Choose Lumo if encrypted storage of every chat is your top priority. Choose UncutGPT if you want uncensored answers and every major model, with private chat when you need it.
Different priorities
Lumo is built to keep conversations private within Proton's ecosystem. UncutGPT saves regular chats so they sync across devices, offers private chat for anything you don't want kept, and puts uncensored models first. The privacy policy explains what is stored.
When to choose Lumo instead
- You already use Proton Mail or Drive and want everything in one place.
- Encrypted chat history matters more to you than uncensored answers.
